WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS AT A SEA GLASS CHRISTMAS TREE WORKSHOP?

1. You look at all your supplies and think, OMG, we're going to be here for DAYS.

2. You listen to the instructions and think, "Huh. I guess that could work. Maybe"

3. You get about halfway through and want to quit because yours is ugly and you're DEFINITELY doing it wrong.

4. You roll your eyes because I'm telling you that you're doing it right and it's going to be beautiful.

5. Your tree is going through that unfortunate adolescent stage. Braces and everything. And I'm promising you it'll be prom-ready by the time we're done. I don't believe you.

6. You and your friends laugh and make fun of each other's trees.

7. You keep going, although there may still be an eye roll or two directed at me. You think I bought my sample trees somewhere.

8. Hmmm... it might actually be starting to come together.

9. Wait a minute. It's actually looking pretty good!

10. You turn on the lights and... OHHHH! Now it really IS pretty! You start contemplating where you're going to put it in the house.

11. You take pictures with your friends, all looking ridiculously happy and a little surprised at how beautiful your trees turned out!

Sometimes you just have to trust the process (and maybe your instructor 😂) and you might surprise yourself with what you can create!

Officially neck deep in petals over here 🌿😂

Tomorrow is the first class in the new studio and time is officially running out for me to make more flowers… so if you want in, now’s the time to register 🙂

Honestly this is shaping up to be such a fun night — comfy clothes, good people, snacks, laughs, and a couple hours to shut your brain off and do something different for once

So, grab your girls, your sister, your cousin, neighbor, your favorite coworker… whoever needs a night out!

And somewhere in the middle of all the chaos and petals, we’ll make a really beautiful hydrangea wreath too 💙
