Final update:
1250 plus screws and the roof is complete with ridge cap and all. The plastic and fabric was installed and 3 of the 5 semi loads of rock spread. Should be able to store a few boards in here soon!

Cut the last of the WALNUT and the last of the logs for 2025-2026, until fall.
It’s been a crazy busy 6 months of cutting, dragging, hauling, sawing, sticking, and stacking. Here’s some of what came off the sawmill today. A 38” walnut on the small end sure made some nice 10/4 WIDE slabs. As always more to come including a a video of the piles of wood laying around and the big upcoming project this year.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Cut some nice WALNUT and CHERRY this week. It’s all home and I’m done dropping trees till the fall. Just need to get it all cut up now. I’ve got some interested parties to see if any of these are veneer logs. If they are, then we’ll have to see what to do…

I had some fun with a couple huge sticks. The one I’m modeling is the 3rd log (24-36’) up the tree. Got some 30”+ plus 3 1/8” thick slabs from. Finished WHITE OAK for now…. Got a little WALNUT, RED OAK, and HICKORY to cut and one last stop to log if Mother Nature will allow it with some CHERRY and more WALNUT.
