We’re so excited to be at the **Port Angeles Library** tonight from **6:00–7:00 p.m.** for a floral design demonstration and class!

We’ll be sharing:

💐 Easy-to-follow design principles
🏺 How to create a beautiful arrangement in an urn
🫙 Tips for designing in a charming mason jar

June kicked off the wedding season. The ranunculus, peonies and roses stole the show. We fulfilled our spring subscription’s, had the great honor to help Nancy of with a birthday party, we did a sweet demo for the local garden club, actual baked a legit loaf of sourdough, conquered 6 weddings in 10 days, and spent numerous mornings soaking up the glory of the June garden. Our weather this spring was dry and warm which the roses loved. I think we need more. Our final wedding of June had the most glorious sunshine and beach views for their dinner and tablescape. Our sweet mama was the best help we could ask for. To say summer started hot and heavy would be an understatement, but it was immediately followed with 10 days of R&R. I guess you could say we work hard and play hard. 🥂 to summer baby!

Lily of the Valley.
When we were kids, our grandmother, who lived next door, planted Lily of the Valley between our two houses. Year after year, the patch spread until every May it bloomed into a fragrant carpet of delicate white, bell-shaped flowers. We would gather handfuls of stems, arranging them in our favorite little vases and placing them throughout the house.
Five years ago, our parents sold that home. Before they did, we carefully dug up clumps of the Lily of the Valley and replanted them in our own yards. Now, every May, our little patches bloom again, carrying us straight back to childhood — to the sweet scent of spring, quiet afternoons spent playing outside, and our dear grandma, who had a gift for making the simplest moments feel special. We remember a mom who let us choose whichever vase we wanted and cut as many stems as we could hold. Showing us generosity and teaching us independence.
Every season, those flowers return as a gentle reminder of the daily rhythms, memories, and people that continue to tie us together.
