to the house that sparked the idea for Redesign Matters. We loved being apart of designing this open concept home in Ohio. Our name may be REdesign Matters, but we aren’t afraid to work from the ground up! Our favorite part about working in a new construction is finding creative ways to incorporate the homeowner’s existing pieces into a brand new space. Feeling comfortable in your home is so important now that we are all spending so much time inside! We took this 80’s Morrocan living room and transformed it into modern zen space to entertain family and friends. Take a look at the last photo to see where we began!

The biggest challenge of this living room was the long narrow space that needed to fit enough furniture for small gatherings without looking crowded. I think we accomplished this by choosing streamlined furniture in a neutral color scheme that wouldn’t visually clutter the space.
