The No. 1 thing I LOVE about being an interior designer is sourcing unique products and meeting other creatives like myself in the process! This family room’s pillows (all from smaller makers) is a perfect illustration! It’s all in the details and working to find just the right combination of elements ✨

Here’s to my favorite stop at market this spring! I had the best time wandering through x — I got to meet so many of the artists behind the boutique collections. Tile swatch in hand, I schemed for wallpaper and banquette fabrics for a long time Manhattan client’s kitchen renovation! Swipe through for a peek at some of my finds and go check out these wonderful vendors!

I had even more, but 20 is the max number of photos allowed 🤣

Craving a break from your to-do list? Need a little time to just be creative and have some fun? I would LOVE for you to join me for my very first Art Making Happy Hour!

You are allowed to put the phone down. For two hours, there is no inbox, no one to follow up with, no project deadline sitting in the back of your mind. Just you, a glass in hand, flowers on the table, and the rare and radical act of making something for the joy of making it.

On May 20th, join us at Raleigh Workup for an intimate creative gathering designed for women who spend their days building, designing, and delivering for everyone else. This one is for you.

Tickets are $40 and space is limited. This is a small, intentional gathering — not a packed auditorium. Reserve your spot before it fills.

For the past year and a half I have been working on a new series of large format digital mixed media pieces. This collection is vibrant, layered, and meditative, capturing moments in time. Here’s a sneak peek at one of them. Slated for a spring release, sign up for my newsletter (link in bio) to stay in the loop!

In the meantime, here’s a little background on how these pieces are created. Want to learn more? DM me with any questions ✨💙

My initial practice involves painting or collage. When I finish a piece I am often drawn to specific sections. I want to zoom in, to enlarge and layer elements in a way that involves transparency and multiple types of imagery, the way a person is multifaceted. What is underneath, what is on top? Which layer came first? In this piece I sought to explore the interplay of color and movement. The watercolor background and cut paper pieces appear to be in frozen mid-movement, as if caught in a moment in time. Just like in a photograph, only what is captured in that moment is revealed.

It’s another snow day down here and given we have been cooped up most days since last weekend playing games, watching movies, and baking (or watching my husband bake delicious cookies and then eating them), it has me thinking about game tables and rec rooms! Here are some of my favorite past designs!

1) I found this antique table in PA and paired it with vintage bamboo chairs refinished in a deep coral lacquer. And for the final touch? What could be better than a cheeky needlepoint pillow?

2 + 3) I love how playful yet adult friendly this diamond pattern is! Plus, it’s a space where you can really have fun with a bright pant color. Add a pool table with a ping pong top and you are in business (and don’t forget to hang some art!)

4) We took this 3rd floor bonus room and created a zone for games (foosball + darts), a zone with a table for cards and puzzles, and a big sectional with a custom windowseat nook for big game and movie watching!

Looking to add some fun and games to your home? DM me, I’d love to chat!

I just love the way the light from the window hits this piece and the reflection captured in the glass on the left is pure magic ✨ The other thing that was pure magic when I snapped this photo: listening to my kid explain in detail why she prefers colorful frames over white ones, priceless!

Drumroll…I am beyond thrilled that this piece was selected for this show! And there is a people’s choice award — see link in bio to vote (title of mine is below)! Final day to vote is Jan 15th. The big reveal is at next Friday’s reception: 6-8pm on the 16th!!

“As the Tide Comes in” 48x48 is on view at Truist Gallery in Durham through Sunday, February 8th or visit and see the full exhibition online!

Dear 2025, not gonna lie, I’m just so excited about 2026, but on this last night of holiday break (my official start to the new year) here’s some moments I want to remember…or at least the 20 Instagram would let me put in the carousel 😭

And before you start swiping…here’s to YOU! A GIANT THANK YOU to everyone who visited my new studio, shared one of my posts, subscribed to my newsletter, purchased my art, trusted me with their home, attended one of my events, and especially shared how much joy they felt inside my studio (many shared they would never want to leave it) ✨❤️🥰
