Black Hills Creations is a new shop specializing in tons of personalized gifts and home decor, as well as fine art and large scale photography printing! We needed to showcase a wide variety of gifts and home decor, and add large scale wall art in a small space. I wanted it to be warm and welcoming for customers to stop in and design their gifts, or they can design for you. Open House is today, check them out!

This mural has been living in my head for months! I finally had time to do it, and it was so much fun. It's really hard to get a good photo because it's a small entryway. I used paint I already had, did a little custom mixing, and shopped my admittedly "vintage hoarder" home for this perfect mirror after my original idea didn't look right. I also painted over my original background colors after day one, which is a good reminder to jump in, because it's just paint.

Loving this amazing update from a client! You may remember this patio makeover, I added hanging bud vases to create a live element. I hoped her kiddos would have fun adding wildflowers, and they have delivered! Check out their gorgeous seasonal display, makes me so happy.

I've been working with a really fun client on making her new construction house feel like Home. Only added curtains today so this is the day to day look, lived in and personal but so pretty. This room is a great example of blending old and new. The dried flowers are her daughters wedding bouquet, all this furniture is heirloom, we just rearranged, styled with things she loved, and added some art and curtains to tie it together.

I probably didn't NEED a rainbow disco ball mushroom, but I have no regrets. Now I need some sort of spinning mirrored light stand or something. Open to ideas. 😄

Just heard from my Staging Client! This house had been on the market for 30 days, with 2 showings and no offers. After staging, they've had 12-15 showings and an offer in just 15 days!

Fall is officially busy season! Not much time for social media, but I did want to show one of the processes I use for blank slate rooms. I can see spaces in my head, but it helps to be able to illustrate where we're going. I still love how this room turned out, I want it for myself. 😉
