This one was a bit more personal. As a Crossing Guard I wave at a LOT of people throughout the day. But this man is my favorite person to wave at. He always waves until we can’t see each other anymore and always has a big smile on his face. It makes my day every time i see him. I decided that i needed to paint him to make HIS day haha After I started painting this i got a chance to actually talk with him and found out he used to work on a dairy farm and had a favorite cow (i had started painting the cow before i knew this because theres a cow statue across from my corner but how perfect is that?) and that his grand daughter was an artist. When he learned i was one too he encouraged me to go to the local Art Fest and showcase my talents. It meant a lot to me that this man who barely knew me cared this much and i am so happy that I finally finished this painting and was able to hand it to him through his bus window yesterday 💕I dub this painting “An Encouragement to Artists and Savior to Cows”

I sold some “Mini Commissions” so I had fun today and I handed out a lot of business cards!

FINALLY finished this painting for my Mom 🥳 I was feeling super restless and a little depressed so I made myself go sit on my tiny patio and paint! Its so good to get back into painting again. 🥰 And yeah sometimes I use myself as a pallet 😅 My son said it looks like I got bit by a zombie 🤣
