Handmade goodies to inspire hope in the world today! In June 2010, I opened my Etsy store of handmade quilty items.

The mission of Sally's Angelworks is to inspire hope through these handmade items. Sometimes hope can be inspired through the practical: camera strap covers, little sweet aprons, tote bags. Hope can definitely be inspired through art/quotes. This is where my mini quilt art comes into play. To create inspiring fabric art is a long-time passion of mine, and what a privilege it is to fulfill this dream!

Happy almost Friday!!! Just a quick reintroduction as I’ve taken a long time in between posts to live life to the fullest!!! But i@miss having a type of scrapbook to look back on and I miss sharing all of the fun life that’s happening!

So hi! I’m Sally! A wife to Mr gorgeous, mama to 10 kiddos, MawMaw to two marvelous boys, cellist, quilter, support executive for Julie at the , wedding cake baker, longarm quilter, art journaler and planner, dog mama, and singer!!!

But most of all, I love Jesus! He gives me the hope to try new things and the stability to keep steady on with the good things I’m doing!

Keep watching for quilty things, wedding cake practice, even some new clothing makes, and lots of fun with our family and our wild 4 dogs!!! Haha🥳🥳🥳🥳

Oh my heart with these boys!!! Cora was wonderful to hop on a plane from Atlanta and bring Milo and Eliot to see MawMaw and PawPaw last week! The blessings of Grandparenting!!! It’s the best!!!

Ready for the quick version of the miracle baby? Happy happy 24th birthday to my miracle child, Lillian!!!

In short, Lil was born dead when my uterus ruptured during labor. She was life flighted to the med center and put on a cooling blanket to stop her brain from seizing! It did the job! After a week and a half (the longest of our lives!), she could breathe on her own. After 3.5 weeks, she came home with a feeding tube and has done so well since!!!

Lil is a smarty, Dr Pepper-lover, amazing singer, writer, and fashion designer. She also has one of the most amazing testimonies as Jesus snatched her from the arms of death and gave her back to us!!! That deserves a little Dr Pepper, huh?

Happy birthday ! We love youuuuuuuu!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

It’s been a glorious two days since our sweet Milo was born to our first-born Cora and her hubby, Nathan!!! I am so privileged to be MawMaw to this sweet boy!!! It’s going to be so fun to watch him grow up brave and amazing like his sweet brother Eliot!!!! Grandparenting truly is the best!!!!
