The trial, lasting several weeks, of significant DZ Mafia members for a double murder in 2019 concluded yesterday. For the last few days I have been walking passed the Palais de Justice in Aix en Provence completely oblivious to the fact that two significant members of the notorious Marseille drug trafficking gang were on trial inside. All roads surrounding the Palais de Justice were heavily controlled and barricaded by numerous automatic weapon bearing policemen.
