I love this book and I love these earrings! And so do you… so it was time to restock them again! Each Truffula Tree is hand cut from polymer clay, painted, varnished, and put together with love.

Sadly, this weekend’s Pumpkin Festival at Sinkland Farms was cancelled due to what is predicted to be a very wet weekend. But we will see you next weekend at the Vinton Fall Festival! Fingers crossed for great weather!

For my book-inspired collections, I try to make designs that can be enjoyed by fans as an obvious representation of the book but also create more subtle designs that can be appreciated by people who aren’t familiar with the book. For my first “Harold and the Purple Crayon” design, that’s what I went for. But sometimes, when you realize a design just isn’t working, you get an opportunity to reinvent it! I am a big fan of this book (as evidenced by my tattoo) so this time I went for a more direct and recognizable reflection of the book. What do you think?
