Awal Mar Tii:

● In Anywaa culture, the “Awal Mar Tii” (meaning “beaded gourd bowl”) is the most festive version of the traditional serving bowl used for Kwon — a beloved corn-flour porridge enjoyed with flavorful stews and sauces. A beautifully beaded Awal like this is brought out to honor special guests and celebrate important
occasions.
