Welcome new friends! I figured it’s time to reintroduce who we are!
I started Milo’s Crochet Corner in June of 2024 as a way to honor my son, Milo Thatcher Reed Cole. He was stillborn on May 15, 2024 at 36 weeks with no known cause. I crocheted him many toys and his first baby blanket. These were items that I clung to during those early stages of grief.
Even though his life was short, he had a purpose. As his mom, it’s my job to keep that purpose going and to continue to honor him. That’s how MCC was born. I make baby blankets in honor of the baby/babies lost and make a care package for the mothers who are suffering infant loss, stillbirth, etc. It’s been such an honor to meet with and give these baskets to these women.
If you’ve followed my journey via instagram…you know my husband and I just welcomed our rainbow baby girl, Eryn Valley, in March! Now having her, I realize how important this ministry is.
That being said, I make many crocheted items to sell as a way to raise money to make these baskets for these mothers! I have an Etsy shop of items I’ve made previously that you can purchase or you can message me on social media where I can make even more custom orders! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, donations, or how to request a basket!
For those who’ve been following along and supporting since the beginning…thank you! For those who are just joining, thank you for being apart of this journey! As always continue to pray for this ministry and that the Lord would continue to make a way for us to come alongside of fellow loss moms and to continue to honor our precious baby boy! — Milo’s mommy (aka Gracie)
