A winter fruit worth waiting for 🍂
Hachiya persimmons, native to East Asia, shine in the colder months, when most fruit is long gone. Unlike crisp Fuyus, Hachiyas must be fully ripe before eating… soft, custardy, and deeply sweet.

I attended an Oddities Dinner at on Halloween… and let’s just say the courses got creepier (and more delicious 😈) as the night went on.

Napkins over our heads, mysterious meats, forbidden flavors… every plate told a spooky little story. 🍽️✨
