Home with a full heart. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who shopped with me, offered kind words, or made this show a little sweeter. To the neighbors who saw I needed a hand, the sweetest grand baby born during the show, the field owner who keeps giving to us all,the customers who treat me like family, and the shopping tour groups who shopped like pros you, mean so much to me.

But most of ALL, thank you to the two men who have been by my side for load-out, show after show. ❤️

My youngest son works nights and is expecting his first daughter later this month, yet he rolled in yesterday morning with his mama-to-be (wife Bianca) and went straight to work. Bianca was right by my side, taking down lights and sweeping. With so much on their own plates, they still showed up for me.

I spend my days surrounded by treasures, but the most valuable thing in my life will always be FAMILY. My space in The Pavillon may be empty this morning - but my heart is full.

I see it as a stroll through beautiful gardens… where I might’ve enjoyed my coffee this morning.

You might see it as THE fashion show in Round Top.

But my favorite way to see it? A fabulous event at Zapp Hall whose proceeds help these beautiful gardens continue to bloom. Now that’s always in style

And this is so much fun!

Every photo tells a story. This step back cupboard or pie safe as it is referred to. It has an incredible story in just my life time. My mother & gran had an antique shop in the late 1970’s & early 1980’s. It was called Family Affair Antiques. They sold the piece to a local family. She contacted me over the summer asking if I was interested in purchasing from her. Picking it up was eventful - I had a spunky little two year old in tow and a trailer with a rotten floor and stepping in the wrong spot. But we loaded it and took it back to our shop. It found its new home today in Warrenton and is starting a new adventure again. Full circle ⭕️. Stop by and see more oak antiques.
