The story behind Ada Threads Co. 🤍🧵

Most people assume I’m Ada…but Ada was actually my great-grandmother.

This business is named after a legacy that began generations before I ever picked up a needle.

My Nana taught me to sew, crochet, and knit when I was a pr***en. She learned those skills from her mom, Ada, who learned from her mom, Cora. For generations, the women in my family have used their hands to love others—sewing clothes, quilting blankets, crocheting gifts, and creating things that would become treasured for years.

In a world where so much is made quickly and thrown away, I want to create pieces that are made with care, meant to be loved, and remind us of the beauty of handmade.

More than anything, I believe God gives each of us unique gifts and passions. I’m so thankful He’s allowed me to continue this legacy, and I pray that every stitch I sew reflects His goodness and brings joy to someone else.

Thank you for supporting not just a small business, but a story that’s been woven together for generations. ❤️

Come pack a couple orders with me as a small business owner + stay-at-home mama 🤍

Today’s orders included adding stickers, packaging everything up with care, making a quick snack break for my little guy, and a trip to the post office 📦✨

Running a business with a toddler isn’t always glamorous, but I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. Thank you for supporting my little dream and allowing me to create while staying home with my son. 🥹
