Our Story
Never Nakey Doors began during one of the hardest seasons of my life. After breaking my back and facing surgery, I suddenly found myself unable to work as a nurse and uncertain about what the future would hold. I needed something to keep my hands busy, my mind occupied, and my spirit encouraged while I healed.
What started as therapy quickly became something much more.
The very first wreath I ever made was a Georgia Bulldog Christmas mesh wreath for my husband. Truthfully, it didn’t turn out very well — but the next one, a handmade rag wreath with Georgia fabric, felt different. I realized I loved the process of creating something unique, personal, and full of heart.
That’s how Never Nakey Doors was born.
I wanted a name that people would smile at and remember — something quirky and fun, a little “Bob’s Burgers”-inspired, because honestly, no door should ever have to go naked. Every front door deserves personality, warmth, and a welcoming touch.
From my home in the Pressman’s Home area of Rogersville, Tennessee, I create handmade wreaths, door décor, bows, and seasonal pieces designed to bring joy to homes year-round. I love working with fabric, ribbons, wood, and paint to create pieces that feel creative, unique, and unlike anything you can grab off a store shelf.
Whether it’s for a holiday, special occasion, everyday decorating, or a custom creation, my goal is simple: to help make your home feel welcoming before anyone even steps inside.
Faith, creativity, handmade quality, and bringing joy to others are at the heart of everything I make. Many nights, you’ll find me creating with 80s music playing in the background, inspired by the idea that even difficult seasons can lead to beautiful things.
My hope for Never Nakey Doors is to become more than a wreath business. I want it to be a place people turn to for meaningful, handcrafted décor — not just for the front door, but for the home and heart behind it.
Because every door deserves to be dressed.
