SOLD: I had a past customer reach out to me saying she loved the last peacock chest of drawers that I did and asked if I would make her one only larger. With this piece I painted the body of the dresser a shade of blue for the base color and topped that with different shades of iridescent colored paints. I used colors that complimented the pictures on the sides of the drawers and used a stencil with gold paint to pull it all together. I chose to reuse the original hardware. After a good scrub I painted them a beautiful shade of gold. The top front edge of the drawers was painted to blend in with the pictures so that when the drawers are open it’s more pleasing to the eye. I love the dial look.

SOLD: This evening I completed a special order for a lady that loves miniature donkeys. We also added a few feathered friends per her request. I started with an art deco style armoire and after talking to her about what she wanted this was the design that we came up with. After cleaning, priming and applying the images some hand painting was necessary to pull it all together. A final clear coat was added at the end to seal it. I also changed out the original hardware and added new. They were painted to blend in with the image. This was a fun piece.
