Meet the maker:
Hello everyone. My name is Schnea and I started making candles in 2018 as a way to keep myself busy when my last kid flew the coop and left us empty nesters including our two dogs.

What first started as a hobby quickly turned into a business. Scentsational Aromas was started in my kitchen and has since expanded to include the family as seasonal workers. We are on Etsy but now have expanded to an actual website also.

Unfortunately, we are also in the midst of a long treatment process for our younger pup, Mack, the black and tan border collie mix, for a terrible disease called Immune mediated thrombocytopenia in which the immune system destroys the blood platelets. He was diagnosed in August at age 5 years old and is in the process of seeing an internal medicine specialist since his numbers are still going down but he’s still his loving self.

When you make a purchase from our company, you are helping us give our boy a chance for a good long life. We also donate monthly to an animal rescue shelter that we adopted both of our pups from. We are very pro adopt don’t shop.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers and future customers for shopping small business and for us small business owners to be able to support our families. We couldn’t do it without you all.
