Made the stem with a rod from Craig Hertzog
This was my first time working with his stem material, and it was really great to work with. Can’t wait to use some of the more “exciting” colors I got, but the Garrison Green is a really nice color and was the perfect fit for this project.

Second time incorporating bamboo, and I’m quite happy with how this one came out. Trying new things can be somewhat daunting at times, but learning new skills is always rewarding. Keep pushing yourself, trying new things, and in time you will be able to look back and see how far you’ve come. I keep pieces I make periodically along the way to remind me of lessons learned, new skills acquired, and just as a way to remember the journey.
