Tea cups...I have a plethora of them. Years ago,my mom would come over for tea and the kids would have tea parties. I have floral ones, Fiesta ones,bird ones,old ones and new ones. Tea pots too. I need to start having tea again. Something about it .. it is calming and peaceful. Anywho,I was dusting my china cabinet and remembered these beauties. Old Fire King... Months ago,I found the two cups and saucers at the IC garage sale for $1.50 each. Then,last month,I found a matching sugar and creamer at The Giving Tree. I love this set and the vibrant peach color. Do any of you have a favorite mug or teacup? Share a picture! ❤️

I survived Sam's Club before the snow-pocalypse. Rewarding myself with a thrift stop. Don't sleep on this one. It's got something for everyone. And a resident cat!

Collections... Everyone has at least one collection of something,I'm sure. I have a zillion.🤣 For me,for each collection,there is one piece that started it all. Today,I'm going to talk about Pyrex. I've always loved vintage Fire King,Pyrex etc. my most favorite pattern is Early American. Unfortunately,it's one of the more expensive ones,so I never had any. Until one fateful garage sale day. I got a small bowl for $1. Mint condition. Then shortly after,my mom gave me an old set of cool brown bowls from my step dad. Then I found an old set of green and white bowls for $15 at a garage sale. Then the primary colors bowls. Then,in between these cool finds,I managed to piece together an entire 4 piece set of the Early American bowls. Piece by piece. Luckily,cheaply at antique stores,garage sales and Marketplace ( ask me how many times I've met randos in parking lots waving cash at them?!?!?)😄 I use my collections They bring me joy. Sometimes,I think I'm living in the wrong era. Bring back colorful kitchens,old Pyrex,dinner parties and bar carts.

Welcome to my corner of Facebook! I'm going to share my hilarious musings and thrifting finds and awesome memes here. I called it The Intentional Hoarder because,well,my husband thinks I'm a hoarder. I guess,if Dorothy Breininger showed up,she might call me a version of that. But I am intentional. I thrift things that speak to me. I love oddities,grandma core,vintage stuff. I surround myself with things that make me happy. I love staying at home. If you're looking for a tanned housewife in white and beige houses with nothing personal on the wall,I ain't it. I have an ADHD brain though,so buckle up.😆 Stay for the ride. I'd love to have you.
