I'm so excited to share that my dear friend, Irene, now has her very own art portfolio featured on the Of the Wild Wood website! 🌸

Irene is the artist and herbalist behind Arose Herbals, a Duluth-based small business specializing in flower essences and herbal remedies. She's a brilliant artist whose work includes paintings, murals, rosemaling, and custom commissions. Her creativity and love for the Earth shine through in everything she does.

Beyond her incredible talents, Irene is also one of the key people who has helped make Of the Wild Wood possible. From spending long days helping me prep for and work markets, to encouraging me through all the ups and downs of starting a small business, to making me teas when I've been sick, she has been there supporting me every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her friendship, her Ta**us tenacity, and the fact that our dreams have aligned in a way that allows us to pursue them together! 💛

I know I just said we were taking a short break for the rest of this month… but we were invited to be an art vendor at this powwow and changed our minds!

Come visit us at the Zintkala Luta Wacipi next Saturday in Minneapolis from 12pm to 8pm. This will be our last market until the holiday season is in full swing!

Pidamayaye/Miigwech/Thank you to everyone who attended Indigenous Peoples Weekend & Native American Food Truck Festival! It was a whirlwind three days, and we were blessed to see so many familiar faces and make new friends along the way. We had a beautiful time celebrating the incredible, vibrant, and resilient cultures of the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island.

I want to extend an extra special thank you to our event hosts Niniijaanis One of Ones, Blue Hummingbird Woman, Steven D's, Healing Birch Waters, LLC , and Trickster Tacos LLC for inviting me to serve on the event planning committee this year and for welcoming Of the Wild Wood to attend as an ally vendor.

And of course, a heartfelt thank you to my dear friends Ella and Irene of Arose Herbals for working so hard throughout the weekend to help me keep everything running smoothly. I truly couldn’t have done it without you two!

It's been an honor to serve on the planning committee and be a sponsor of this festival, alongside our hosts Niniijaanis One of Ones, Trickster Tacos LLC, Steven D's, Healing Birch Waters, LLC , and Blue Hummingbird Woman. We’re honored to be a sponsor and ally vendor of this year’s Indigenous Peoples Weekend & Native American Food Truck Festival! This festival is free to attend and runs October 10-12th at Battle Creek Rec Center and Battle Creek Regional Park. There will be delicious food, live performances, cultural workshops, local vendors, and more! Thank you to everyone who supported us through our first farmers market season!!! 🌱

East Side St. Paul has always had a special place in our hearts and we were honored to be part of this market. We had such a wonderful time getting to know our fellow vendors and share so many hugs and laughs with people who came to visit us.

Huge shoutout to Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center, Blue Hummingbird Woman, and Urban Roots for cultivating this beautiful space for community to come together, and of course to our dear friend Arose Herbals for joining us at our booth 💛

This Saturday!!! Only a few tickets left!

We’re so excited to be a featured vendor at this year’s Women and Wolves event! This unique fundraising event helps support the ongoing work of one of our lifelong favorite nonprofit organizations, the Wildlife Science Center. 🐺🌸

Experience first-hand the sights and sounds of several different species and subspecies of wolves, while on a guided tour of the Wildlife Science Center. Listen to a variety of presenters and ask them questions about their work. Dinner will be catered, and space is limited to 70 women (ages 21+), and I hear tickets are almost sold out!

For this event, Of the Wild Wood is offering two limited edition products: the Wild Woman Invocation Honey and the White Wolf Perfume Balm. ✨
