Over half way there. This color wheel quilt is fun. It is mostly stitched together. I think once I quilt it, I will hang it on a wall.
Every diamond created part of the color wheel. The colored fabrics are not repeated. Every one of the 12 diamonds that create the color has up to 8 fabrics for each diamond. No fabric was repeated in the colored diamonds.

I enjoyed my time today with Julia Quiltoff. It was a pleasure going into her store and being able to see a beautiful quilt that will be on the cover of a magazine. The custom quilting she was doing on it was nothing short of Amazing.

A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to work with a new pattern designer, she is actually my daughter.
She designed a quilt and made it and we put it on my longarm and quilted it.
The quilt is absolutely beautiful.
The pattern was released yesterday.

I have been beta teasing an app for anyone that uses a longarm. This app has gone live and it is nothing short of amazing.
Many of you own a longarm.
This app tracks anything and everything.
It even enables you to upload your designs and tile them and send them to your clients.
There is not any longarm app that allows you to do everything, except this one.
I have been using it for months and I will continue to use it.
Take some time and check it out. It allows so much.

It will calculate just about anything that you want it to and it will keep track of everything. It will create shareable estimates and final bills. You can upload your quilting patterns, keep track of clients and their quilts. If I listed everything that you could do with this app, this post would go on forever. You will know at a glance how many quilts you have delivered, how many are waiting and how many are on their way. The app syncs with the web and vice versa.
The developer worked with several longarm quilters during beta testing to deliver a good working app. We are already looking at adding several more upgrades to this app.
I have used it for several months and I love it.
The app version works in conjunction with the web version to give you accurate tractable information.

It will calculate just about anything that you want it to and it will keep track of everything. It will create shareable estimates and final bills. We have been having a great time at The Mid-Atlantic Quit Fest this week. We ran into some old friends and made some new ones.
I was really surprised and excited by someone I spotted there. It was Adam Sew Fun. A few years ago it was him, through YouTube that I learned the art of Long Arm Quilting. He teaches well and has a great time doing it. I learned so much from him that I felt I had known him for a long time. He was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer questions.
