School has started and August is almost over!! Wow! As a former teacher, I know the demands of the job, and how rewarding. Your LOVE has to exceed the hard to make it last. 😌 I'm honored and proud of the time I put in the classroom. My saying that, teachers need to be taken care of. Respect and safety indeed. And, as challenging as some days may have been, I wouldn't change a thing! ☺️

My HATS OFF TO FUTURE TEACHERS! I salute you! Have a great year. Pray for your students and those in charge every day. God has your back.

I am now in my Fall phase! I’ll be practicing in my sketch book with Fall ideas pumpkins, leaves, trees….and still loving coffee n sweets!

Today’s paintings: I got the coffee cup idea from andrea.nelson.art reels. I do love coffee with my prayer time. Had to give it a shot! So cute!

The second page was practice with my new pens. I used ornaments because that will be a Christmas card pattern this year. I wanted something that didn’t bleed like my generic Flair pen. But I do love Flairs btw! I wanted something I could draw and paint over with watercolor. These micron pens from Walmart worked fine. And, I like to “block write” my paintings with verses or affirmations, and I tested each pen as well in its section. I was able to write on the dry paint without it skipping. 👍🏼

In addition, these brushes do seem to hold more water. But the big 10 the most, and the background came out so smooth. I ❤️ it!
