Exciting news! We’re partnering with Meals on Wheels San Antonio to make sure homebound seniors’ pets stay fed this summer. We’re asking our friends and community to donate unopened dog or cat food (wet or dry) to our WestEast studio in the Full Goods Building at Historic Pearl now through June 30th, 2026.

Trade skills are in high demand and they deserve a space that helps them thrive.
The Welding & Autobody Technology Center at St. Philip's College was designed around a simple idea: vocational education should feel as serious and intentional as the work happening inside. The pre-engineered metal frame doesn’t try to hide what this building is, it leans into it. Raw, structural, honest, with tempered glass catching the light and school colors woven through the exterior like a signature.

Inside, 120 welding stations, autobody collision labs, paint booths, and flexible second-floor spaces give students room to learn the way professionals do. On the ground floor, an outdoor lobby opens beneath exposed columns—less a threshold, more an invitation.

Built for the Alamo Colleges District. Built for the hands that build everything else.

May continues to be a month of accomplishments. Montserrat Giron and Marcela Resendez completed IIDA’s 8‑month Emerging Leaders program, dedicated to nurturing and advancing the interior design profession. Only five individuals were selected, and WestEast is especially proud to have two of them on our team. Congratulations, Montse and Marcela. We’re so proud of you both! 🎉

A big congratulations to Marcela Resendez from our Interior Design department on her promotion to Associate! Originally from Reynosa, Mexico Marcela joined the WestEast team in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a proud University of the Incarnate Word alumna and former San Antonio College student, Marcela brings 10+ years of experience and a wealth of knowledge to her role. Some of her proudest achievements include leading interior design projects such as the Henry B. González Convention Center and Providence on the Green.

Marcela, we are so grateful for you, and we look forward to what's to come!
