Our visit to Plaza México in Lynwood, California, was a chance to appreciate a local cultural landmark while showcasing a beautiful floral creation by Chita's Floral Designs.

Honoring Those Affected by Breast Cancer 💐🌸

This October, BloomNation honors the people whose strength, love, and resilience inspire us every day. We invite you to nominate someone special: a breast cancer survivor, a caregiver who has walked alongside a loved one through cancer, or someone who has lost a family member.
Three (3) nominees will be chosen to receive a floral arrangement as a small reminder that they are seen, loved, and not alone.

Jacaranda season is almost over 💜

Purple jacaranda blooms have become one of spring’s most recognizable sights across Southern California. Originally native to South America, jacaranda trees were introduced to California in the late 1800s by horticulturist Kate Sessions, with early plantings in Balboa Park helping shape the region’s landscape for years to come.

Their bloom season is almost over, but for a few short weeks each year, streets and neighborhoods are covered in shades of lavender and violet. A little reminder to slow down and enjoy it while it lasts ✨
