Didn’t quite get to finish this piece this time in, but I’ll surely get it done on my next trip home! This will be my last commissioned work for a long time. I’m going to be downsizing my studio and focusing on my BBQ business from here on out! Stained glass has been part of my life for 23 years now, and I’ll never completely be done with it, but I know I’ll never be able to take the glass studio as far as I can the food service!

Finally got some time to spend in the studio. Here’s today’s progress on this piece. Still a lot more cuts to go!

I haven't bought any supplies in a long time. I was put into sticker shock today when I went online to place an order for some sheets of glass. I will be finishing up the two commissioned pieces I have on the books, and I will be packing up my glass shop and turning that space into something else. The independent artist just can't make it in this world due to inflation. Sorry, it's been a pleasure though.

I’d like to thank everyone for liking my page. Unfortunately I can’t do anymore pieces right now, I haven’t sold anything in a long time and I can’t afford to run the lights and heaters right now. I guess this area just isn’t ready for my work. I’ll still be glad to create something if it is a commissioned project, but for now I’m not working on anything hoping it will sell.
