It’s been a really hard week for our family.

For the last few months, we have been feeding a feral mama cat we named Mia. Over the last couple of weeks, we discovered that she had kittens, and we have been fostering them and doing everything we can to care for them and their mama.

Sadly, one of the kittens passed away earlier this week, and we have been grieving that loss.

This morning, I woke up to find our sweet girl Midnight had crossed the rainbow bridge.

This loss has completely broken our hearts. Midnight was only 5 years old, and losing her so unexpectedly has been incredibly difficult to process.

Midnight and her mama Licorice are the inspiration behind the entire Sandy Slimes logo and the theme that has become such a huge part of our little shop. They aren’t just characters or a logo to us. They are our girls, and they are woven into the story of Sandy Slimes and our family.

Right now, we are grieving a lot of loss at once. As a mama, my biggest priority is comforting my kids and helping them navigate something that is incredibly difficult for all of us to understand.

We ask for a little extra patience with us over the next several days. This may mean slower response times, order shipments taking a little longer, and less activity here than usual.

I probably won’t be posting much while we take some time to process and be together as a family.

Thank you for giving us the space and grace to grieve. Your patience, kindness, and understanding mean more to us right now than I can put into words. 🖤

Please keep our family in your thoughts as we navigate these deeply difficult days.

We were so excited to bring our very first frog spawn and bubble bead clear to the shop! After having two of the frog spawn beads pop out during our 15 minutes of filming, I felt much more comfortable leaving them as an optional add in rather than having them already mixed into the slime. We had absolutely no fallout with the frosted bubble beads during filming.

This is a semi coated clear color shift filled with purple and green frosted bubble beads. If you choose to add the frog spawn, they are black and add a fun, non-abrasive texture to the slime along with that classic little croaking sound that makes them so satisfying for ASMR.

The scent is a perfect fall blend of Crisp Red Apple, Golden Nectar, Warm Clove Spice, Bright Red Berries, and Harvest Fruits.

The charm is a clicker made by our pals at DigiHaus Studio digihausstudio . Since the clicker charms are a higher price point, this slime will be priced accordingly. You can also choose to leave the clicker charm off if you prefer.

And of course, Ashley brought our beloved cat to life, cooking up this spooky little concoction for us.

Hamster Hobbies and I are back with another fun Halloween inspired collab. We bring to you Purple People Eater.

Our this is a new Imported Korean Pape recipe making its debut in this series. This texture has been a favorite of mine for quite some time. I wanted to test a new brand of paper clay, and this one feels completely different then our original recipe. Our OG recipe feels somewhat moisturized, creamy, and chewy. This version is smoother, more matte, less moisturizing, and movable. For the topper you’ll receive a 2 oz container of glow in the dark living floam and Halloween fimos.

This scent combines is a unique combination of pink lip gloss, aged denim, wooden dance floor, punch bowl, and vinyl records.

Caroline at Hamster Hobbies created the most perfect purple one eyed monster bookmark. I can’t get over it came together. They are in transit and will arrive Monday.

Ashley jumped right in excited to do this label. She added Bonnie and our signature black cat capturing their fascination of this new possible friend.

Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Mu***os) is a holiday where families create ofrendas (offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. These spaces are brightly decorated with flowers, photos of the departed, and their favorite things. The offerings are believed to encourage visits from the land of the dead.

This returning slime is our signature butter chew, which is absolutely one of our best selling textures. It is pigmented in a muted yellow with a clear skull bead bomb topper.

With a blend of banana, birthday cake, and buttercream, this slime had a yummy, yet not overpowering sweetness.

We really tried hard to source some unique charm options for this slime. We will offer a color shift skull charm topper, a skull patch that can be sewn into clothing, or a blinged out skull necklace. (I think I have one remaining from last year) Prices will vary on each.

Ashley just really designed this label the exactly the way I had it envisioned. I love the way it pulls in the theme of the slime.

We are so excited that spooky season is finally here. The Graveyard Shift will feature 6 new slimes and four returning slimes . We have some exciting collabs with Caroline & Espresso and Toxic City Slimer. Ashley Houtz generously drew the majority of our labels. We are so sorry we have been on the quiet side.
