For those of you who don’t know me and don’t live in San Diego: happy fall, y’all!
For those of you who do... you know we’re in the middle of a brutal heat wave. It hit 103° in Point Loma this weekend, and our house does not have AC. This morning involved twenty minutes of negotiation with my own hair over whether one strand could touch my neck. It could not. The protein bars live in the fridge now. They had become a beverage. So my scheduled post of fall colors and pears falls (pun intended) a little short. If you’re suffering through this heat like I am, swipe to the next slide for some ice-cold lemon water.
