Hello my Teacup Bay family,

After approximately 10 days I have been discharged from the hospital. I am adjusting to being home, and starting to fill orders again. Thank you to everyone that has been so patient in waiting to receive their order. I am only able to work for a little while before needing to take a break so I appreciate everyone’s continued patience. But please be assured if you have a pending order with us, I am working diligently to make sure it gets to you! I am available always by message if you have any questions or concerns.

We haven’t done a ”Meet the Artist” post in a really long time so here it goes!!

My name is Taylor Kilcrease. I’m 24 years old. I live in North Carolina with my family. I have two young sons, who are just wonderful. I love hanging out with friends. I have an obsession for collecting tea sets. I’m a very picky eater. As a little girl it was one of my dreams to be an artist when I grew up. I’ve been on a weight loss journey for the past year and I have lost close to 100 lbs. I’m a night owl and I often stay up until 2 or 3 o’clock in the morning working on orders or new projects.

I started Teacup Bay Creations in July 2020 with my mother-in-law. She does the needle felting and I do the clay. Teacup Bay has grown so much larger than I have ever imagined, and I’m extremely grateful for that. I remember my first goal for the shop was just to make enough to cover my car payment, not that money has ever really been the main motivation for me, it was just a small goal I had! I’m so blessed that I get to create and share my art with others as my full time job, along with being a stay home mom of course! ☺️
