The company name “Designed With Grace & Joy,” is not just a tribute to my two precious daughters -- Kaylee Grace and Izabel Joy -- it’s a testament to how I will work to help you create a beautiful space of your own! Whether you’re simply wanting to give your current home a little “facelift” or getting ready to list it and needing the most effective return on investment ideas, Designed With Grace & Joy will use the art of design. color theory and decorating techniques (always with function in mind) to create an environment where a new or existing homeowner can truly feel “home.”

👻 A Powder Bathroom Transformation So Stunning, it’s Spooky! 💀🖤
Just in time for Halloween, we’re taking you inside one of the most unique spaces from our spooky multi-room project! 🎃

This 90s builder-grade powder bathroom was completely reimagined for one of our favorite goth and horror-loving clients and I can honestly say, every surface of this space was touched.

The showstopper? That stunning custom floating vanity with its oversized countertop height, giving the space a luxurious and beautifully unexpected look. Paired with gorgeous brass fixtures, a feminine mirror, and the cutest flush mount light with its floral, gothic feel, the vanity area is full of personality.

Gorgeous Anthropologie accents add another layer of character, while the floor-to-ceiling MC Wallis takes this bathroom to another level. Large orchid blooms stretch across a moody charcoal backdrop, with delicate hand-drawn linework tracing each petal and vein for a dramatic, almost haunting floral effect. 🖤🌸

The finishing touches from HomeGoods and etsy bring everything together and make this little powder room feel completely transformed.

And of course, we couldn’t forget the beautiful details from Delta Faucet and Arizona Tile. ✨

When it comes to bathroom design, the mirror can completely change the personality of the space. So we want to know… which look would YOU choose? 👀

🤍 THIS: Two Double Mirrors
Two individual mirrors create a more defined, symmetrical look, especially above a double vanity. They allow each sink to have its own designated space and can bring beautiful balance to the bathroom while giving you the opportunity to play with unique mirror shapes, frames, and finishes.

✨ OR THAT: One Oversized Mirror
An oversized mirror creates a larger, more continuous focal point. It can make the vanity wall feel more open and expansive while reflecting more light and creating a clean, cohesive look.

For this bathroom, we chose to preserve the gorgeous detailed cabinetry while giving it a completely refreshed look with an espresso stain that allows the natural wood grain to shine through.

🛁 Before ➡️ After: A Tub Area Designed to Stand Out 🤍

One of the most beautiful details of this bathroom transformation is the tub area. We wanted it to feel elevated, cohesive, and beautifully connected to the rest of the space.

The gorgeous wainscoting was designed to match the espresso-stained bathroom vanity, creating a rich and cohesive look while allowing the oversized freestanding tub to become the focal point.

A beautiful marble ledge was added above the wainscoting for easy-reach storage, adding both beauty and function to the space. The oversized freestanding tub is paired with a stunning tub filler, completing this relaxing and elevated focal point.

💙 Before ➡️ After: The Crown Jewel of Bathroom Makeovers

Quite possibly the crown jewel of all bathroom makeovers and one we could not be more proud of!

The detailed vanity cabinets were refreshed with an espresso stain to showcase the wood grain, elevated bronze hardware, marble countertops, traditional faucets and herringbone-detail sinks. Arch-top mirrors and tall sconces complete the vanity area.

The tub area features a marble ledge, and an oversized freestanding tub with a beautiful tub filler.

The shower combines marble slab wainscoting, Zellige subway tile, a fully tiled ceiling, a unique arch detail, marble herringbone, and matching fixtures. Shower levers on the pony entrance walls add an extra touch of function.

Finished with subtle diamond checkerboard porcelain flooring, stained crown  molding and baseboards, and a fresh coat of paint.
