Custom order! 💚

Someone reached out and asked if I could make a custom pair of earrings inspired by the hot chocolate croissant from Little Frenchie. After watching a few videos of French hot chocolate being poured over that swirled croissant with a mound of torched cream on the side, I said YES, I can make that!

She loved how the earrings turned out, and today I got to drop them off right at the restaurant that inspired them. Yay! 🥐☕️

Custom orders like this are so much fun for me, especially when I get to turn something delicious into tiny wearable food.

Mira Mesa Street Fair recap: the earrings were cute, but the weather was very rude. 🫠

We made it through a VERY hot day full of Santa Ana winds on Saturday with misting fans, cooling towels, LOTs of water, and an extra umbrella doing some hard work of keeping the sun off me and my customers. My Hawaiian grass table skirts also tried to fly away, so that part of the booth got kicked off and had an early retirement.

The afternoon got pretty quiet, but there were still some sweet little moments worth sharing! A returning customer showed me the strawberry and goldfish charms she keeps on her bag, then picked up my anchor charms for her son in the Navy. A little shopper found a gift for her grandma, and another declared herself a “lumpia lover.” My kind of people!

Ghost earrings found new homes and I got to munch on some tasty kettle corn. Totally counts as a win.

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat to stop by, shop, or say hello. Every little connection means a lot to this maker who was sweating behind the table yesterday! 💚

IT’S GONNA BE HOT 🔥
..in our booth, because I’ll have all the cool weird earrings. 😎

But seriously, it is gonna be hot as heck tomorrow at the Mira Mesa Street Fair, and we’ll be doing our best to stay cool in our tent with multiple fans, cooling towels, and LOTS of water.

I’ll still be slinging all of my nerdy cute weirdness, so swipe through to see some of what I’m bringing! I’ll have new Fall pieces, Filipino goodies like lumpia, banana ketchup, Filipino flags & suns, ube cake and crinkle cookie earrings, plus lots of pop culture, bookish stuff, charms, and more.

There’s plenty happening at the Mira Mesa Street Fair too, including live music and entertainment, a Fun Zone with inflatables, and a food court with lots of Filipino and international food, lemonade, shaved ice and more! So come hungry, stay hydrated, and swing by Booth 72 to browse some weird little things and say hi! 💚🩷

Sneak peek at some of my new Fall/Halloween earrings that I'll have for my Fall markets! My next one is this Saturday for the Mira Mesa Street Fair (10/3 from 10am-5pm at Mira Mesa Blvd & Camino Blvd). I made a new style for my coffin bookcases (plus a new small version), some skeletons, and a little Mouse action. Which one is your favorite?

Chula Vista ArtFest recap! 

This one had a few unexpected surprises in store for me.

The mushroom books and Nightmare Before Christmas earrings were definitely popular, and there was lots of Filipino love throughout the day. Lumpia, Filipino suns, flag earrings and charms all found new loving homes.

But my favorite part might have been seeing some of my OLDEST pieces finally sell. 😂 The strawberry earrings! The mermaid tails in the clearance box! The little green co**ha studs! And the Thing hand earrings that I made LAST YEAR finally found their person. Sometimes a piece just has to sit around forever waiting for the right person to walk by.

There was also this angry little sun charm... I painted that one thinking, “Nobody is going to buy this, but I made it anyway.” Someone bought it! 

I also got to wander around a little, buy some art and stickers from other vendors, eat some tasty food, and enjoy the whole ArtFest atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, bought something, signed up for my newsletter, chatted with me, or pointed at something and said, “omg look at this!!!” That totally counts!
