A shared nursery coming soon for two future best friends šŸ¤

Designed for a growing La Jolla family, this space layers playful details, soft coastal tones, and a few collected pieces that the family already had and loved.

The goal was to create a room that felt thoughtful, warm, and flexible enough to grow alongside both siblings.

Some Airbnb design mistakes are obvious: uncomfortable beds, outdated or broken furniture, no coffee maker, etc. But others subtly impact the guest experience without hosts even realizing it.

A beautiful space can still feel frustrating if:

-the group can’t comfortably sit together
-the furniture feels like leftovers from someone’s old apartment
-there’s nowhere to put luggage

There’s a lot more than meets the eye that goes into a high-performing Airbnb. The best Airbnbs photograph well AND feel easy to live in for a few days because every detail has been thought through. That’s what separates a stay people simply ā€œlikedā€ from one they rave about later.

A properly designed and stocked Airbnb involves sourcing and setting up 100–200+ items, depending on the size of the property. Furniture, linens, kitchenware, supplies, and layout flow all need to be considered and done right.

Sound overwhelming and time-consuming? It is! But that’s where I’m here to help. :)

A WeHo work-in-progress. 🚧

Working on a really fun hybrid staging project right now, staging a vacant West Hollywood home for sale using pieces the clients will actually keep and use afterward in their San Diego home.

I focused on creating emotional connection through layered texture, softened forms, warm organic tones, and a more pulled-back approach to styling the space for both listing photos and the in-person experience.
