motherhood changed what i want out of life.

i don’t need to impress everyone. i don’t need the busiest calendar, the biggest house, or to constantly be doing more.

i want a cozy home. happy kids. little traditions. creative projects scattered around the house. slow mornings when I can get them. and the freedom to walk away from anything that steals my peace ✌🏻

mom to mom, i really mean this 🤍

you don’t need another productive thing on your to-do list. make something because you love the colors. decorate because it makes your house feel like you. pick up the hobby you used to love. make the mess. leave the dishes for a minute. create something with your own two hands.

motherhood can take up so much of you. don’t forget to leave a little room for the woman who loves to make things, too.

if you needed this reminder, save it for later 🫶🏻
