Meet the Maker.

Hi, I’m Jen and i’m SheBuilds4U. I am a one woman show, that is addicted to tools and loves to create/build lovely items for your home. I am a MN native that lives in San Diego CA with my high school sweetheart/husband of 36 years and our 2 kids.
When i was 17, I got a job at a home-improvement store. I worked full time to put myself through college. I was the only woman that worked there, i drove a forklift. I learned allot of handy trades during that time. Post college i went into retail management at a building material stores. When i moved to San Diego i wanted to go into corporate retail and not be in field. I started working for an off price retailer that had 235 stores in the buying department. Eventually i moved to the planning department. I loved that job. I love analytics and planning.
When we bought a home and had kids, i eventually decided to stay home with them. I learned during those early years to have a hobby for yourself.
Because everything is so expensive i started making my own tables, furniture and home decor. Laying floors and moulding.
With encouragement from an amazing community i live in, SheBuilds4U was born.
SheBuilds4U donates 20% of its yearly profits to schools and local community needs.
