"Turtles at Rest"

A peaceful underwater scene where sea turtles drift gently through tranquil blue waters above a bed of colorful seashells and starfish. Flowing sea grass and delicate glass bubbles capture the quiet rhythm of the ocean, creating a sense of serenity and harmony. This glass artwork invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and embrace the soothing beauty of life beneath the sea.

Good day my friends. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

The weather here has finally cooled so I'm looking forward to getting out in nature. There are two places I like to walk, both are wildlife sanctuaries. One in particular has a variety of birds, and is the inspiration for this art piece.

"Stillness in Bloom"
Depicts a graceful egret standing in quiet elegance along a shell-strewn water’s edge, surrounded by golden-yellow blossoms and the tranquil beauty of the natural world.

Hi Friends:

Let's welcome a smaller piece in my Ocean Series, "Solstice Beneath the Sea." This one captures the tranquility of a small and colorful tropical fish who is gently gliding through tall sea grass over a colorful sea bed of shells, sea glass, and a pearl in a half shell.

This hand blown tropical fish will be debuting in a new art piece as part of my ocean series. I'm still in the design phase, so not sure how many more colorful fish will join it. Stay tuned!

Siren of the Tides, part of my ocean series.

Suspended in a moment of exquisite motion, Siren of the Tides portrays a mermaid surrendering to the graceful power of the ocean as she rises upon a cresting wave. Luminous glass captures the fluidity of the sea, transforming light and color into an ethereal dance of movement and reflection.

Both mysterious and serene, she embodies the timeless allure of the ocean—a world where beauty, freedom, and myth converge. Siren of the Tides invites the viewer to lose themselves in the moment, where the boundary between dream and sea disappears.

Hello friends. You may have noticed a new name in your feed, The Eloquent Bee. Just want you to know that's me, Angela. I have retired my previous business name Angela Starback Designs and all that was attached to that name.

I'm looking forward to a fresh start with some new art. Over the next week or so I'll start to post new pieces for all of you to see. If something catches your fancy, DM me and we can discuss. I'm in the process of rebuilding a new website where my products will be available for purchase. Fingers crossed 🤞 that goes well as I'm not a techie person. 😆

For those who've asked, YES, I will still be making soaps and body care.

Thank you for following me and my art journey. Have a beautiful day.
