We also offer personalized mixed-media artwork for sale. Na Pua Designs was created by Anjal Pong, the artist and flower designer. Anjal first began learning traditional Hawaiian practices with na pua (flowers
) over 12 years ago as a hula student under Kumu Hula, Kawika Alfiche. As a member of his halau (hula school), all lole (costumes), implements, and adornments were made by hand maintaining traditional cultural practices. The ability to perform different styles of lei making and plant identification were mandatory by all haumana (students). Hula and elements of nature are the inspirations for Anjal’s artwork.
