We haven't heard Mr.Beans meow yet but he's already rocking 🥁🤘 Second week of watching little Beanie baby grow🌱

In the shelter he was listed as Lynx Point (his coloring) so my obsession with lynxes took over and I couldn't resist.

His name is inspired by the digestion aid "Beano" that we had on our kitchen counter 😺

It's been 7 months since we lost our cat Stella. Our current cat Bob (short for Bobrah) really needed a friend so it was time ❤️

"A Place to Rest" is inspired by California superblooms that erupt from scorched earth. I wanted to create a piece representing the human awakening that follows the total burnout so many of us are experiencing right now...

Although the artwork looks surreal, it could be a reality in California if not for invasive grasses and human activity, which have left less than 10% of native grasslands intact.

At the artwork's base lies a soft, tactile sanctuary made of green yarn and native wildflowers knitted by hand, offering a landing place where a tired mind can finally find refuge. I wanted to include this piece in the show as a tribute to my mom who raised me mostly as a single parent.🌱

Some of the native flowers depicted are: California Poppies, Owl's clover, Johnny Jump-ups and others💐
