trying to make a decision on the floor tile. i’m a horrible decision maker! i bought the large hexagon tile a while ago - but not sure i still like it - i’ve had too much time to think about it 🤪

the other tile (left) just got delivered yesterday. i like it but not sure i love that one either. plus scott does not really want to do the herringbone pattern at all - but he will if i make him 😂

another option would be a smaller hexagon tile in more of a black/dark gray. (see second photo)

what do you think? left or right? or the smaller hex tile?

we started the wall tile yesterday but had a wedding to attend in the afternoon so we there wasn’t a ton of progress. figuring out where to begin is the hardest part!

lots of errands to run today and the plan for this beautiful sunday is to prime the walls and to work on the tile!

vanity spoiler alert: our countertop material is in! i stopped by balconi granite and tile to “visit” the quartzite and i am in LOVE! there are still a few steps before install but now i’m REALLY excited!! 😍😍

i had my coffee on the front porch on this rainy friday morning. i we use the pour over method to brew our coffee - it works really well for us! how do you brew your coffee? ☕️

we are in the process of updating the kid’s bathroom. here are the before pictures.

we completed our mud room in 2018. it was the thing i REALLY wanted! we have five people in our family and i needed a place to organize everyone’s “stuff.” we removed a set of closets in the hallway off the laundry room to make space for the lockers. believe it or not, the kids are pretty trained to use their lockers to put their coats, backpacks, shoes, etc. away when they get home. the lockers even have charging stations for our devices. scott is usually the only violator of my “two pair of
shoes” rule.

the amazing rug is from Ruggable ❤️ and is actually machine washable. i have been wanting to order one for a long time and this is my first. i’m sure there are several more in my
future!
