All you need is 800g of dough made from 500g AP flour.

🤍Braid 3 challahs from 4 strands = 12 strands total
💙Each strand 65g, 28cm / 11 inches long
🤍Cut each braided challah in half, 6 half-challahs
💙Arrange the 6 halves into a 6-point star

6 strands. Zero excuses!
After last week's key challah, you deserve a spa day. Here's your reward: an easy, satisfying 6-strand challah. No stress. Just flow.

One challah Ingredients (double for two):
500g flour
7g yeast
50g sugar
10g salt
50g oil
220g water

Divide into 6 pieces, roll each to 50cm / 20", braid, and bake at 350°F / 175°C for ~30 min.

I'm obsessed! How fun is this "No Braiding" technique?
Same weights, same lengths as my yesterday key challah, I just placed the strands differently, and look at the result.

🗝Dough Division:
🔸 Top arches ×2
100 g each side | 40 cm / 16"
🔸 Side infinity ×2
130 g each side | 50 cm / 20"
🔸 Inner top ×2
30 g each side | 30 cm / 12"
🔸 Bottom spiral ×2
30 g each | 30 cm / 12"
🔸 Key body ×2
50 g each side | 20 cm / 8"

🗝 Decorations and Tips:
✨ Body decoration - 20 g
✨ Key teeth - 30 g
✨ Top sides balls ×2 - 20 g each side
✨ Remaining small balls - 10 g each

💡 Use any leftover dough to add your own decorative touches!
💡 Keep about 1.5 fingers of space between the parts, the dough will still rise and expand.
💡You can brush with egg yolk before baking, or drizzle with olive oil right after, just like in this video.
💡Same weights, same lengths, endless designs. Mix it up, play with the placement, and make it yours.
