This collection has found such a lovely response. Thank you for welcoming these pieces into your homes. ❤️

Here is a taste of the lines, florals, and patterns that emerge as I work. Each piece is made and painted one by one, becoming part of a family.

If you're new here, welcome. Have a look through the link in my bio.

A few more glimpses before the doors open.

A curvy line, then another, and another.
A shape reveals itself. Then another. Maybe it repeats, maybe it changes size.
And eventually, it’s ready for the fire.

It is so satisfying to see the stages side by side: the clay still soft in my hand, a bowl taking shape, pieces waiting to be fired, and all of them together in the kiln.

So much happens from one to the next.
The collection is getting closer.

Some of the things surrounding me these days…
Clay and tools on the table, books nearby, a flower wanting to be a part of a piece, a gorgeous sunset.

I like how all of these things become part of the work.

I’m enjoying making these short, roomy pitchers, along with a few tea bowls, too.

They are simple forms, and I love the way they sit on the table and feel in my hands.

They are drying and still not fired, but I’m already imagining bold scallops and patterns on them.

One of the pieces from the new collection.

This teapot came out of the kiln just as I'd hoped, and I've been enjoying her company on my table while I finish preparing the rest of the collection.

This collection is coming together.

This time, it's not so much about matching sets, but a mix of forms, like in the early years. Teapots, vases, bowls, cups, and small dishes, all hand-painted with florals and patterns that many of you have come to know and love. I like the way each piece keeps its own character while still belonging to the whole.

It's been a joy to see this collection come out of the kiln, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you.
