At With the Grain we love to upcycle, reuse, refresh and reinvigorate old furniture by giving each piece a fresh coat of paint, stain or just a little TLC. You would be surprised at the things we can do to make it fresh, stylish and functional again...and all while reducing our carbon footprint (because who doesn't love being green?!). So take a stroll through our photos to see the work we've done
- all of our projects have been thrift store finds, curb side trash or hand-me-downs...because being thrifty/frugal/economical is important to us, and anything you buy from us should make you feel like you are adopting a new puppy from your local shelter-one that's groomed, trained and ready to be loved . We aim to offer our products at a fair price- we carefully consider the work involved, cost of materials, and time invested before we price our projects- and we will make it our priority to offer the lowest prices we can while still making it worth our time and effort. We are just a simple business residing in Sayre, PA, and we want to share our passion and creativity with our community! If you have any ideas of something particular you are looking for- just send us a private message and we can work with you! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at our work! Best Wishes,
Theresa Coleman
**ALL SALES ARE FINAL** Due to the nature of vintage, one-of-a-kind items, we will do our best to describe items as accurately as possible. If we missed anything, it is not intentional. We are more than happy to answer any questions to provide additional information on any items, but please be aware that the pieces you see from With the Grain are not new...they are aged, vintage and full of charm and character! Normal wear and use can be expected given the age of these pieces. Many of the pieces we choose to upcycle were manufactured sometime between 1950-1990...and many even earlier than that! While we make as many major repairs as we can, the nature of our design style blends vintage with modern, plus a farmhouse style feel... because we love and appreciate the craftsmanship and undeniable quality of materials in these pieces that you rarely see in furniture warehouses today, we embrace some of the cosmetic imperfections- we even accentuate them at times. So if you love furniture with a story, you'll love our "re-designs" and we hope you'll follow our page and appreciate how much time, love and passion is poured into each and every one of our projects.
