Today was one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do.

Recently, a sweet lady donated a large amount of wood to my woodworking business. The wood belonged to her husband who had passed away. He was a Vietnam veteran, and woodworking was something he loved.

I wanted to do something meaningful with a small portion of the wood he left behind. So I used it to build a display case for the American flag that was draped over his coffin.

I had the honor of giving it to her today.

Being able to turn something he once worked with into something that now honors his life and service means more to me than I can put into words. 🇺🇸

Today I want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was gifted a large amount of wood by a very kind woman whose husband recently passed away. He was a fellow woodworker, and this wood was something he cared deeply about.

I’m truly honored to be trusted with his materials, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll make sure this wood is put to good use and turned into meaningful pieces that carry on his passion for the craft.

Thank you for your generosity and trust during such a difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 🤍
