"Timeless pieces create the foundation, then the personality comes through in the details"—the same philosophy behind every space we design.

We're honored to have Raegan featured in So Scottsdale's Pulse section this month. It's a fun look at style beyond the interiors, but the throughline is one we live by every day: classic elements as a foundation, with the details that make a space—or an outfit—feel personal and collected over time.

Thank you to So Scottsdale for the recognition ✨

A sorority house runs on its common spaces—and none work harder than the sofa.

It's where a chapter gathers before formal, where late-night conversations turn into lifelong friendships, where someone's always saving a spot for whoever walks in next. We design seating that can hold all of that—room enough for the whole chapter, comfortable enough for the quiet nights in between.

Because the best design isn't about who the space impresses. It's about who it makes room for.

Not every space needs to shout to feel special ✨

There's a quiet confidence in this bathroom—soft blush cabinetry, warm brass fixtures, and marble that catches the morning light just right.

It's a space that doesn't compete for attention, it just feels good to be in, whether you're getting ready for a big night or just starting a Tuesday. Sometimes the most memorable rooms are the ones that don't try to be memorable at all.

There's a reason this home feels like you can exhale the moment you walk in.

Stacked stone brings a sense of grounding to the spaces you gather in most. A textured wallpaper wall turns the primary suite into somewhere you actually want to end the day.

Carved wood details and layered textiles give every room a little more warmth to sink into, whether that's movie nights by the fireplace or slow mornings with coffee and a view.

Nothing here is neutral by accident—it's all in service of a home that feels as good to live in as it looks.

There's a particular kind of anticipation that builds before guests arrive—the table set, the chandelier casting its first warm glow, the wine wall standing by like a well-stocked green room.

We designed this dining room around that lead-up, not just the dinner itself. It's a space built for the hosts who like a full house and the friends who never quite want to leave the table—long after the plates are cleared and the conversation's still going.

This is what we mean when we say a home should work as hard as it looks good.

White countertops get called safe. We'd call them fluent—fluent in whatever room they're asked to speak.

Paired with blackened steel and rift oak, they read modern, almost architectural. Set against warm wood tones and antiqued brass, they soften into something more traditional and lived-in. Framed by patterned tile and polished nickel, they lean collected and classic.

That's the thing about white stone—it's never the star of the room. It's the constant that lets everything else change around it. The cabinetry, the hardware, the light fixtures, the mood—all of it shifts from project to project, and the countertop simply adapts, quietly doing its job in every version of a home we design.

A pillow's job isn't just to look good.

It's easy to write them off as the last thing added to a room—a finishing touch, an afterthought. But in the homes we design, pillows are doing more than decorating.

They're what make a sectional feel like the spot where the whole family piles in on a Sunday. What turns a bed into the place you actually look forward to at the end of a long day. What gives a mudroom bench a reason to be sat on while the grandkids pull off their shoes on their way in.

These are homes meant to be lived in, not just looked at. So we think about how a space feels to come home to as much as how it photographs—the texture under your hand, the weight of a throw pillow you'll actually use, the layers that make a room feel collected and lived-in rather than staged.

Because a beautiful room that no one wants to settle into isn't really finished. ✨

Composite photos, sheet music, and family heirlooms—the piano in a chapter house holds more history than almost anything else in it.

It's often the one piece that's been there longer than any current member, passed down through decades of members who added their own composites to the walls around it.

We treat it that way in our designs. Instead of tucking it into a corner, we build the room around it—layering in vases, books, and objects with the same weight and warmth the piano already carries. The goal isn't to make it stand out. It's to make it feel like it's always belonged exactly there.

It's a small design choice with a bigger effect: it tells every new member, and every visiting parent, that this house takes its history seriously. ✨

Walk past this shelf every day for four years, and it starts to feel like part of who you are. ✨

Leather-bound volumes, a chinoiserie ginger jar, a gilded lyre catching the light—small details members pass a dozen times a day without stopping to notice.
That's exactly the point.

The best design doesn't ask for attention. It just becomes the backdrop to four years of late-night studying, big sister reveals, and the ordinary days that end up mattering most.

The right seating makes a space, not the other way around.

It's easy to focus on countertops and cabinetry and let seating become an afterthought—but the chairs and stools we choose carry just as much weight in how a room feels.

A wash of rust velvet on slim brass legs brings warmth into a space built on marble and wood tone. Taupe leather on angled black frames leans the room moodier, more architectural. Soft white boucle against black metal softens a space that's otherwise all sharp lines and desert views.

Three kitchens, three completely different moods—and the seating is doing more of that work than people realize.
