🕯️Welcome to part 4 of the behind the scenes candle jar prep series! This is were everything starts coming together.

The soy wax gets melted down in the wax warmer. My wax warmer is named Harvey 😂 It stays in the warmer until it hits the right pouring temperature then gets poured into a pitcher wheee the fragrance oil is added. Blending it in at this stage is what helps determine the scent throw.

After that, the wax mixture gets poured into a piston funnel for help me pour the hot wax into each mini candle jar without too much excess spillage.

Stay tuned for part 5 where we finalized this awesome batch of custom label mini candles.

I love word searches. My daughter and her dad even have contests to see who finds all the words first.

It’s a fun and great distraction from your everyday thoughts.

🕯️ The drink recipe that sparked our most enchanting summer sent yet:

🌿 Did you know our new Apricot Elderflower Tea candle was inspired by a drink recipe I found online? The notes sounded so perfect together- juicy apricot comforting, black tea, and sweet floral elder flower- that I immediately went to work blending scents to create this refreshing candle.

Here is the recipe that inspired this relaxing candle:

Ingredients:
•3 dried apricot pieces
• 2 teaspoon dried elder flowers
• 1 cup boiled water
• honey to taste and/or favorite natural sweetener- optional

Instructions:
• add three apricot pieces to heat proof mug
• add 1/2 cup boiled water to the mug
• mash apricots to release flavor
• add 2 tsp dried elderflowers & remaining 1/2 cup of boiled water to mug
• steep for 10 to 12 minutes then strain
• sweeten with honey &/or favorite sweetener
• Enjoy!

It’s a fantastic way to start the day but also a great way to settle down and relax after a long day.
