I’m fundraising for PAWS again this year! Please consider helping me meet my $250 fundraising goal using the donation link in my bio. 😻 I will also be donating 10% of sales (patterns & knit shop items) to PAWS between now and June 27!

I will be walking every day and logging my miles because PAWS Walk participants are working together to turn 30,000 miles into $30,000, with every mile we log unlocking $1 to support PAWS’ lifesaving work. 😺

I support because of their unwavering care & dedication to save all kinds of animals, including wild animals that are injured or sick. I adopted my first cat from them way back in 2005. ❤️Magnum❤️

Today I walked up through my neighborhood to the nearby park. I saw two dogs and one cat while I was walking. (Should I continue keeping track of how many animals I see? 😆)

I finished 3 hats in the last week!!! At one point I had 5 WIPs, now down to two. 🥳🤩🥂

In order they were finished:
1. Quill hat by in Cadence 💚
2. “Melt the Ice” hat - I know I’m late to the party, but I was helping a friend re-learn to knit while we made these hats and it took us a while to find time to finish them. Mine still needs a tassel. ❤️
3. Mystery KAL hat by 💗

I took last week off of work for my birthday week and even though it felt like a busy, full week I definitely had some extra knitting time. 🧶 I also watched the entire season of The Beauty. Anyone else watching that show or read the graphic novels?

Recapping 2025 by sharing some of my favorite custom orders that I made! 🤩💖 Starting a business this year was exhilarating & challenging. All I really hoped for was that I would sell a few things and have fun doing it. I honestly could not have hoped that I would end up getting to do this many custom orders for people in my first year! Not to mention that I vended at 5 craft fair / market events! Not bad considering I had basically no experience with that kind of thing before 2025. It’s been a blast. Feel free to hit me up with any custom order ideas you have. I love the creative connection & collaboration that is an integral part of making something unique & special for someone else.
Slide 2 is a great example of that! A woman who lives at Fred Lind (I vended at their annual Art Walk in September, and my friend works there) reached out to me through my website with the idea for a knit glasses case. We discussed colors, shape, style, & size over email and came up with this cute houndstooth design. She even had my friend bring me the antique silver button to use. We were both really pleased with how it turned out. 💖😊✨
For the new year I am already making & plotting new products that i didn’t have before: colorful hats, small scarves, knit dogs, fingerless gloves, are all on the list. Watch this space for new product drops. 😁
