I remember about fifteen to twenty years ago, we had a dear family member who had cancer, and this cancer had spread so much in the facial bones that in one situation, because of the intense pain, he agreed to have hid eyes removed and any part of the face that was necessary, just so the pain they were experiencing could be stopped.
At that time, I didn't understand how a person could reach a point where he would be willing to agree to this so easily, and not only agree but insist on having his eyes removed. But now, I stand in a place where I understand that person's feelings.
Now that we have agreed to this war, I understand that the cancerous tumor of the Islamic Republic has brought us to a point where we have agreed,just like that person who agreed to have hid eyes removed, even though he knew it would be a long-term darkness.
We don't like war either, but we have no other way to fight this cancer cell.
