The After

What was once a space of chaos is now a space of function.

This room had become the catch-all for everything—holiday décor, sporting equipment, household items, memorabilia… basically, all the things that didn’t have a designated home.

The shelving system was already here, so this project wasn’t about buying more product. It was about making what they already had work better.

We sorted everything, grouped like items together, and created zones so things are easy to find, easy to access, and easier to put away.

And the biggest win? They didn’t just gain organized storage—they gained back an entire room that can now be a functional space.

I left my clients with a few homework items to finish, but otherwise…

this space is DONE.

Less chaos. More function. More usable space.

Eventually, “for now” turns into where do I even start?!

This is where I come in.

As with any family, their lives are BUSY. When life gets busy, things pile up-literally! Finding time to get things done seems impossible, and before we know it a simple task becomes a daunting one.

PANTRY EDIT: THE AFTER

Deep shelves = amazing storage…until things get pushed to the back and go there to die.

For this pantry, deep shelf organizers and canned food risers from made everything easier to see, grab, and put back.

And not everything needs to be new! I always try to repurpose containers my clients already own. They’ve already spent the money—if it works, let’s use it!

Less-used serving pieces went up, and everyday essentials came down.

I organize a pantry much like a grocery store—group like with like and make it easy to navigate. If the kids AND adults can find it and put it back, that’s a win.

Pretty is fun. Functional is better.

Less is more.
