🌸Summer honey is here!!! 🐝

The bees have been very busy foraging for that nectar, even during the dry spells this summer. I was hopping for a bit more honey this summer but still ended up with close to 300 lbs. The seasonstill isn’t over yet. We will see how much fall nectar we bring in.

The bees were busy this week bringing in lots of nectar when it was sunny and warm out. This week the goldenrod started. I’m going to be pulling off summer suppers Monday so stay tuned for some more pictures and videos of the extraction.

🐝 Our bees at Highland Hives have been busy gathering nectar from the first blossoms of the season. We keep our honey raw, so it’s full of natural enzymes and pollen, and each jar captures that unique floral flavor of early spring �
