Had the opportunity to restore another outdoor bench for somebody. Really enjoyed it. Ended up replacing the wood with local oak and panting cast iron with outdoor enamel.

I’ve had a couple of requests to make several of these planters. Let me know if you’re interested. I can make them different colors or sizes.  I would rather make all of them at once so the sooner the better.

Made some jewelry stands for my wife for an event. I couldn’t come up with a great design. Went with the old standby I always use for serving trays 😊(walnut and maple). Ends are made out of oak. I hope to add spool holders on back. Let me know if you anyone has any suggestions on better styles or plans.

Finished a table for customer with breadboard ends. Learned a lot on how to fade and blend stains to help match the customers floor.

Enjoyed some time yesterday hand planing table tops with my Stanley Jack plane(No 5) to flatten them before staining. A friend of mine who is much more knowledgeable in hand planes helped me pick out my first jack plane several years ago and showed me how to set it up and use it. If you’re looking at doing woodworking or have been doing it for a while, I would suggest getting a few a few hand planes to help with bigger jobs instead of spending hours sanding. Its almost become an obsession of collecting these older planes from estate or yard sales. Once you restore them, they can be used just like they were intended years ago. I’ve got several that are close to 100 years old or more in age.  If your looking for therapeutic time while woodworking, consider hand planning!

I finally finished the breakfast nook for a customer. Ended up making a flip top for storage inside along with sliding drawers on the ends.

Was asked by customer to make a shelf with rollers for laundry room with limited space.
Ended up having the legs at 10° angle so it was easier to access the second and third shelf from the front.
