~ The Art of Doing Nothing ~

After a very long year of events, I took my first break this past month and it was beyondddd needed.

The burnout was real. What surprised me most was that it took a couple of weeks before I could actually relax. My mind and body had been moving so fast for so long that even when I finally had time to rest, I didn’t know how.

I realized that doing nothing is a practice. Giving yourself permission to simply exist, without producing, planning, building, or chasing the next thing, can be harder than it sounds.

Sometimes slowing down brings anxiety. Sometimes it brings guilt. We convince ourselves that if we’re not moving forward, we’re falling behind. But there comes a point where rest isn’t avoiding progress, it’s the only way to continue it.

Happy to say I finally learned how to take a break… and break I did. It was everything I needed and more. :) 🤍 I’m personally obsessed with this crop and there’s S-L available on the website!

Okeechobee you were unreal.

Grateful to have been part of this activation with Live Brand Systems, collaborating with HighScore, bringing back open decks with Lows Only. The energy, the people, the moments, it all meant more than I can put into words.

Thank you to everyone who came through and shared that space with me. This opened new doors creatively, and I’m carrying that forward.

Working Miami Music Week is basically signing up for the most unhinged marathon of your life

You start the week thinking you’re gonna “balance work and play,” and by day two you’re answering emails in sunglasses, 3 hours of sleep deep, pretending you know what time it is. Meetings at 3am. Your step count is elite, your brain cells are not. Every Uber ride feels like a life reset. Every “quick stop” turns into a 4-hour side quest.

Then there’s the schedule, You say things like “I’ll just swing by for a bit” and suddenly it’s 6am, then you gotta go home and do an outfit change like it’s an Olympic sport. At some point you forget what day it is, where you are, and if you’ve actually slept or just blinked really long.

By the end, you’re running purely on adrenaline, chaos, and questionable life choices, trying to piece together memories that may or may not have actually happened.

And of course, you finish it all off the only way that makes sense, a completely delirious post with no structure, no context, and absolutely zero proofreading.

Wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the best week of the year. Cheers 💫
